- Make sure your passport is valid and in good condition;
- Respect local laws, traditions and customs;
- Avoid getting involved in demonstrations or street protests in the countries you visit;
- Regardless of the destination area, keep documents, valuables, travel tickets, money and credit cards in safe places and do not display them visibly on you or in your cars;
- Avoid traveling to dangerous areas;
- Get a travel guide for your chosen destination;
- Make sure you have sufficient financial means to support yourself and your family members, as appropriate;
- If you are traveling by plane, find out about the products you can take in your hand luggage;
- Get medical insurance for traveling abroad;
- Leave copies of your passport and insurance policy with your family;
- Do not undertake to transport the luggage of unknown persons. There is a risk that it may contain prohibited products, and you will bear the consequences of the law.
- Inform yourself about the security situation in the destination country;

- Embassies of the Republic of Moldova and consular offices, existing in the countries where you are located;
- The Consular Affairs Directorate within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration;
- Honorary Consulates of the Republic of Moldova, which can report your problems to the nearest diplomatic mission of the Republic of Moldova
