Rules for crossing the state border by minors.

For a minor to cross the border from Moldova, a valid travel document is required, and if not accompanied by both parents, a notarized declaration of consent from the absent parent (or both, if applicable) is mandatoryThese rules also apply to travel with a single parent, or with another person, and the declaration must specify the destination, purpose and duration of the trip. 

Unaccompanied Minors.
   For unaccompanied minors, we recommend that you consult the specific procedures of the airline. Usually, companies offer a special service for minors, which includes assistance from boarding to destination, with the mandatory presentation of a power of attorney. Inform yourself in advance about these services and make sure that all details are correct and up-to-date.

Baggage Allowance for Children
   Hand Luggage: Children are entitled to one piece of hand luggage, which may include toys and other essential items for their comfort. Check weight and size limits with the airline before flying.

Travel Rules for Children
   Infants under 2 years old usually do not require a separate ticket, but may be charged a reduced or free fare, depending on airline policy.
Infants under 2 years of age who do not have a separate seat must be held on an adult's lap using a special child safety belt, available on all aircraft and provided by the flight attendant before takeoff. This is attached to the belt of the parent or adult accompanying the infant.

Recommendations for transporting baby strollers:

Stroller transport rules DIFFER from one airline to another, as do their weight and dimensions. Before departure, we recommend that you check the specific policies of the airline you are flying with regarding the rules for transporting strollers. Upon arrival at the airport, please go to the airline's check-in desk to check in your stroller, even if you have already checked in online. On the aircraft, the handling company's staff will take the stroller and store it in the hold of the aircraft. We recommend that you label the stroller with your name and contact details to avoid any confusion. After landing, your stroller will be available either on the aircraft or at the baggage carousel.
