„"Turandot" is an opera Giacomo Puccini, set in ancient China, tells the story of Prince Calaf. He falls in love with the cold princess Turandot, but to win her hand, he must answer three riddles. Success brings him victory, but also her refusal to marry, so he offers her a chance to find out her name by morning, in exchange for his life.
- Act I: A mandarin announces from the palace that Princess Turandot will only marry the man who solves the three riddles, otherwise he will be executed.
- Act II: The comic characters Ping, Pang, and Pong prepare for the event, either the wedding or the execution, depending on the prince's success.
- Act III: Prince Calaf, safe, does not reveal his name, but agrees to be executed if the princess manages to guess his name by sunrise.
- end: The opera ends with a dramatic duet between Turandot and Calaf, in which she reveals her secrets and he explains the meaning of love to her, leading to a moving ending for the audience.
